Apple continued the production of the MacBook Pro in early 2013. They introduced the MacBook Pro Retina Display with a Core i7 processor with 8 GB of onboard 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM and 256 GB of flash storage. The MacBook Pro comes with a 256 GB SSD of 6 Gb/s. This is a vast improvement from the hard drives which were used in previous generations. The flash storage while faster, is still being used in today’s models and stands to be one of the fastest storage devices available.
